Welcome loves! Today we’re rounding up some of our favorite Save the Date designs and bringing you a little inspiration to brighten your day. From vellum overlays, to holographic scratch off stickers, to postcards and fur-babies, we’ve got some of our fav styles from over the years, and there’s a little somethin’ for everyone.
Emilee and Ben chose a vellum overlay to accompany the sweetest engagement photo, held on with a super chic rose gold clip. Paired with a bold green envelope, these definitely top our charts and capture our hearts!
So, what’s a Save the Date anyway? Well, think of them as an announcement to your guests letting them know that they should save your date, to help you celebrate. Save the dates will generally be sent out anywhere from 6 months to a year in advance, and are a great starter piece to any custom invitation suite.
Stefanie and Kyle’s modern romance save the date perfectly blended 2 of their favorite e-sesh photos, and gave a little glimpse of the rose gold glam event they were planning.
If you’re planning a destination wedding, or inviting a large amount of out of town guests, save the dates are a must! These little loves were designed to let your guests who need to travel from afar know to start planning their trips. Want to let them know about travel details, accommodations, and other events they should plan for over the weekend? - put it all on your wedding website and have us include that in your design! This way you know your guests have the basic details in their hands right away, and gives you a little time to get more of your planning taken care of before your invitations need to go out.
We just love how Kate and Zane chose to incorporate the floral design and colors from their invitation suite into their save the dates, and had the sweetest engagement photo printed onto the back. We paired them with a super chic nude shimmer envelope to complete the look. Who wouldn’t be excited to find these in their mailbox??
Alexa and Daniel have our hearts with their modern geometric styling (I know, we’re obsessed with hexagons, we can’t stop, won’t stop!), and their super chic grey and gold color palette. Their engagement photo, shot by our girl Maura Jane Photo added just the right pop of color to their modern design.
So…. we may also be a little obsessed with vellum (as you well know), and it was the perfect design choice for Aschley and Michael’s save the dates with their southern NM desert and mountain vibes. We love their modern, minimalist design aesthetic.
Dani and Robbie brought the drama with their engagement photo by Matt & Tish - we love the intimate feel of the moment, and I like to imagine they’re looking longingly at a bottle of champagne in the distance!
And engagement photos taken in breath-taking locations like mountain tops, white sand dunes and ski resorts - well, we’re here for it! But our favorite engagement photo trend……
GIVE US ALL THE PUPPERS!!!! We need to see your fur babies y’all! ALL THE FUR-BABIES. Seriously though, we get extra gushy when our clients bring their pups along for the ride!

And in case including an engagement photo (or several), is not your thang, we love designing other styles as well like our Las Vegas save the dates with scratch off hologram stickers to reveal the date (fun, right??), or fun floral designs, like Caroline and Alex chose to do.
But we also love the classic, tailored stylings of Dayan and Charles’ save the dates, set off with a bold, deep purple envelope and white ink address printing.
