Welcome back Funky Olive Family! Today we needed a little reminder of the magic that is in the work that we do and naturally the celebration of Bonnie & Peter came to mind immediately. While they were far in proximity, this out of town couple instantly felt so close to our crazy designer hearts. Lovers of the art of celebration and doing things differently made working with them feel like a breath of fresh air. We love a couple with a firm grasp on what they are looking for but capable and flexible enough to allow us in to make suggestions. That is exactly what we got while working with this lovely duo and ultimately we were able to create a suite that was ultra-lux, memorable and original. The Wedding Stationery that we designed for them incorporated a trendy and modern 3 layer invitation featuring a vellum overlay, a custom venue illustration layer, and a layer with their wedding details. It was finished with a grommet and the most beautiful earth toned, hand dyed, silk ribbon. The dusty blue paper stock and the vellum layer were perfect for featuring white ink- a high end detail that makes the paper feel ethereal & delicate while allowing the venue illustration to be bold and bad a**. It doesn’t hurt that this brilliant couple also happens to be parents to the sweetest pup in the universe and said fur baby makes a cameo on the big day- you gotta see this!
