What the world needs now, is love sweet love. Singer Jackie DeShannon first sang these words in 1965, and now, fifty something years later, they still hold true. And a love like Danielle & Yousuf’s love is what we should all be aspiring to!
These two, are truly beautiful people, inside and out! Their magical Los Poblanos day, will be one that lives on in their hearts, and the hearts of their guests for years to come. From the navy and blush color palette, to the little touches of including llamas (which free-roam on the venue property), and peacocks into their decor, this sweet day was filled with personal details and so much sweet love.
Their custom invitation suite was such a joy to create - when Danielle asked “can we add maybe some llamas, and peacocks into the design?” I was like - “um, heck yes!” (For those that don’t know, my husband owns a business called Funky Llama Productions, so these fuzzy guys hold a special place in my heart!)
We brought their color palette into the play with the softest florals, and bold navy envelopes. Their custom vow books were printed on navy velvet stock, with white ink printing and finished with soft, blush hand dyed silk ribbon.
We’re suckers for those getting ready and detail shots, of course, and how could you not when they include the traditional henna work for Danielle, and a groom looking this suave? The couple chose to spend the WHOLE weekend celebrating - with a smaller service Friday (featuring vows and prayers in Arabic, English & Spanish), and a brunch reception the following day for more guests.
We love when we get to design signage for a ceremony - so of course we enjoyed creating these details for their welcome sign, cards and gifts, reserved seating, and their programs.
First looks, photos with the horse Yousuf rode in on, all the iconic photo op spots at Los Poblanos - it’s like we’re living in a dream world here!!!
Something we should see more of - first looks with dad and bride!!! Ps - how stunning is Danielle’s dress???? The detailing on this is sublime!
Yousuf made a grand entrance on his horse, and we’re here for it! Danielle was escorted down the aisle by her Father, who built the custom arch they were married in front of! This couple really thought of every little detail.
We don’t always blog about the bridal party - but how could you not when these are the photos you get! Seriously, these are the best!!!! Southwest Creative Co. always knows how to hit it out of the park!
Their seating chart, with it’s navy background was simply stunning hanging from our gold seating chart holder (available for rent locally), and if you know us, you KNOW we love any chance to make a beautiful hand painted acrylic sign - that shade of blue gives us all the heart eyes!!!!
Danielle and Yousuf, we’re forever grateful that you allowed us to be a part of your wedding day, and we wish you both the very best in your future together, you both deserve all the love, sweet love!
